He sounds like he's Maureen, wanting to put her nose into everything, her fingers in all of the pie. He means it with sincerity, though--he hopes he gets that across. That Mark will take good care of it because Mark takes good care of Roger, and that Billy won't be disappointed. Maybe it's a mixed metaphor.
